Description

A refreshing drink that combines sweet watermelon with tart lemon, perfect for hot summer days.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups watermelon, cubed
  • 1 cup lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 1/2 cup sugar (or to taste)
  • 4 cups water
  • Ice
  • Lemon slices for garnish
  • Watermelon wedges for garnish


Instructions

  1. In a blender, puree the watermelon cubes until smooth.
  2. Strain the watermelon juice through a fine mesh sieve into a large pitcher to remove pulp.
  3. Add the freshly squeezed lemon juice and sugar to the watermelon juice. Stir until the sugar is dissolved.
  4. Add water to the mixture and stir until well combined.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator or serve immediately over ice.
  6. Garnish with lemon slices and watermelon wedges before serving.

Notes

For a twist, try adding mint leaves for extra freshness. Adjust sugar to your liking.
