Ingredients
- 1 cup self-rising flour
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup sour cream
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
- Lightly grease 8 cups of a muffin tin.
- In a large bowl, combine the softened butter and sour cream. Mix until creamy and smooth.
- Stir in the self-rising flour until combined; the dough will be thick.
- Spoon the dough into the muffin cups.
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until the tops are golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Best served warm with butter or jam. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for 2 days or refrigerate for a week. Freeze for up to three months.
