Rich, fudgy peanut butter brownies that are simple to make and irresistible.
Ingredients
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease or line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
- Add the cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt to the mixture. Stir until well combined.
- If desired, fold in chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Allow to cool before cutting into squares and serving.
Notes
For a fudgier texture, avoid overbaking. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
