Description

Taco Stuffed Pasta Shells are a fun and tasty twist on classic tacos, combining the delicious flavors of tacos and pasta for a satisfying meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 envelope taco seasoning
  • 1 (4 ounce) package cream cheese
  • 12 large pasta shells
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1 cup taco sauce
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey jack cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups crushed tortilla chips
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 3 green onions, chopped


Instructions

  1. Cook the ground beef in a skillet until it’s browned.
  2. Add the taco seasoning and prepare according to package directions.
  3. Mix in the cream cheese and let it simmer until melted.
  4. Chill the meat mixture in the fridge to make it easier to stuff.
  5. Pour salsa into a greased 9×13 inch pan.
  6. Cook the pasta shells according to the package directions, then toss them with a little butter.
  7. Fill each cooked pasta shell with the meat mixture and place them in the pan on top of the salsa.
  8. Pour taco sauce over the shells and bake at 350°F for 30 minutes.
  9. Sprinkle shredded cheeses and crushed tortilla chips on top.
  10. Bake for an additional 15 minutes until everything is heated through.
  11. Serve with sour cream and your favorite toppings. Enjoy!
