Description
Fun and easy DIY glowing bouncy balls for kids and adults.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup white school glue
- 1/4 cup liquid starch
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tablespoon glow in the dark powder or glow paint
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- Food coloring (optional)
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
Instructions
- In a small mixing bowl, combine the white school glue and water. Stir to combine.
- Add the baking soda and glow powder to the mixture and stir until well mixed.
- If you’d like to add color, mix in a few drops of food coloring and stir until evenly distributed.
- Gradually pour in the liquid starch while stirring constantly until the mixture becomes thick and sticky.
- Once it starts to hold together, add the cornstarch and knead with your hands to form a soft bouncy dough.
- Roll the mixture into small balls about 1-2 inches in diameter, dusting your hands with cornstarch if too sticky.
- To activate the glow, place the balls under a light for a few minutes.
- Test the bounce by gently dropping the balls; they should bounce and shine brightly in the dark.
Notes
Store in a cool, dry place and avoid direct sunlight to maintain glow quality.
