Delightful Sugar Cookie Cheesecake Bars combining the joy of sugar cookies with creamy cheesecake, perfect for gatherings and sweet cravings.
Ingredients
- 1 tube of sugar cookie dough (16.5 ounces)
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 box of cream cheese (8 ounces, at room temperature)
- Optional sprinkles
- Optional powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare a baking dish by spraying it with non-stick spray.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, vanilla extract, and egg. Mix on low speed until smooth.
- Cut the roll of sugar cookie dough in half and press half of the dough into the bottom of the baking dish to form the crust.
- Pour the cream cheese mixture over the sugar cookie crust.
- Create flattened chunks with the remaining dough and place them evenly over the cream cheese mixture.
- Bake for about 30 minutes, until the top is golden brown.
- Let the bars cool for at least an hour before adding sprinkles.
- Cut into squares and serve.
Notes
Serve chilled or at room temperature. Can be topped with sprinkles or powdered sugar. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
