Ingredients
- 1 (3.4 oz) package instant vanilla pudding mix
- 2 cups cold milk
- 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 1 box vanilla wafer cookies
- 4 ripe bananas, sliced
- 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- Fresh mint for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the vanilla pudding mix and cold milk until smooth and slightly thickened.
- Add the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract; whisk to combine.
- In a separate bowl, beat heavy whipping cream until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the pudding mixture until fully incorporated.
- In a trifle dish or large glass bowl, layer vanilla wafers, followed by bananas, strawberries, and pudding mixture.
- Repeat layers, finishing with pudding on top.
- Garnish with extra fruit and mint if desired.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
