Ingredients
- 1/2 cup clear school glue
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tablespoon baking soda
- 1 tablespoon contact lens solution (contains boric acid)
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon glitter or shimmer dust
- Food coloring (multiple colors for rainbow effect)
- 1 teaspoon dish soap
- 1 teaspoon citric acid
- 1 small mixing bowl
- 1 spoon or craft stick for mixing
Instructions
- In a small mixing bowl, combine the clear school glue and water. Stir until fully blended.
- Stir in the baking soda and glitter (or shimmer dust) for a sparkling effect.
- Divide the mixture into sections and add a few drops of different food colors to each. Stir until each section is evenly colored.
- Mix in the cornstarch and citric acid.
- Slowly add the contact lens solution while stirring continuously. Knead it with your hands until it becomes stretchy and gooey.
- For extra bubbly fun, add a teaspoon of dish soap.
- Stretch and twist the slime to watch it change colors and fizz slightly.
