A calming sensory bottle filled with seashells, glitter, and ocean-themed charms for relaxation and sensory exploration.

Ingredients

  • 1 clear plastic or glass bottle with a tight-sealing lid (16 oz or similar)
  • 1/2 cup warm water
  • 1 tablespoon clear glue or school glue
  • Small seashells and sand
  • Fine glitter (optional, silver or blue)
  • Blue food coloring
  • Small ocean-themed charms (optional)
  • Funnel (optional, for easier filling)
  • Hot glue gun (optional, for sealing the lid)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Bottle: Clean and dry the bottle completely. Remove any labels for a clear view inside.
  2. Mix Water and Glue: In a bowl, combine warm water and clear glue. Stir until fully blended.
  3. Add Color and Glitter: Add a few drops of blue food coloring and glitter if desired. Stir gently.
  4. Add Seashells and Sand: Add small seashells, sand, and any ocean charms into the bottle using a funnel if needed.
  5. Fill the Bottle: Pour the water and glue mixture into the bottle, leaving some space at the top.
  6. Seal the Lid: Screw the lid on tightly. Use hot glue around the lid for extra security to prevent leaks.
  7. Shake and Enjoy: Shake or tilt the bottle to watch the seashells and glitter swirl and settle, creating a calming sensory experience.

Notes

Store your sensory bottle in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Use a funnel to avoid spills when pouring your mixture.
