A classic Polish cheesecake known for its delicate texture and rich flavor, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
- 200g flour
- 50g cocoa powder
- 150g butter
- 100g sugar
- 2 eggs
- 500g twaróg cheese
- 100g sugar (for cheese mass)
- 2 tablespoons flour (for cheese mass)
- Bakalie (e.g., raisins, nuts)
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
Instructions
- Prepare the cocoa crust: In a bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, sugar, and butter. Add eggs and knead the dough. Press it into the bottom of a springform pan and bake at 180°C for 15-20 minutes.
- Meanwhile, prepare the cheese mass: Blend twaróg cheese with sugar, eggs, and flour. Add nuts and mix well.
- Pour the cheese mixture over the baked crust.
- Prepare the crumble: Combine flour, sugar, and butter, then sprinkle on top of the cheesecake.
- Bake the whole cake in the oven for about 40-50 minutes at 180°C.
- After baking, let it cool and then chill in the refrigerator before serving.
Notes
Serve chilled, cut into pieces. Can be dusted with powdered sugar or served with fresh fruit on top.
