Description

A delightful twist on the traditional breakfast favorite, combining savory sausage and creamy eggs on a crescent roll crust topped with melted cheddar cheese.


Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 1 cup cooked sausage crumbles
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Unroll the crescent rolls and press them into the bottom of a pizza pan or baking sheet.
  3. Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
  4. In a skillet, cook the sausage until browned.
  5. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Pour the egg mixture over the sausage in the skillet and cook until the eggs are set.
  6. Spread the sausage and egg mixture over the baked crescent crust.
  7. Sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese.
  8. Bake for an additional 5-7 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Slice and serve hot.

Notes

Best served hot with fresh fruit or salad on the side. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
