A delightful twist on the traditional breakfast favorite, combining savory sausage and creamy eggs on a crescent roll crust topped with melted cheddar cheese.
Ingredients
- 1 can refrigerated crescent rolls
- 1 cup cooked sausage crumbles
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Unroll the crescent rolls and press them into the bottom of a pizza pan or baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
- In a skillet, cook the sausage until browned.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Pour the egg mixture over the sausage in the skillet and cook until the eggs are set.
- Spread the sausage and egg mixture over the baked crescent crust.
- Sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese.
- Bake for an additional 5-7 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Slice and serve hot.
Notes
Best served hot with fresh fruit or salad on the side. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
