Description

A fun and easy recipe for making colorful and stretchy saltwater slime perfect for sensory play.

Ingredients

  • 1 (4 oz) bottle of clear school glue
  • 1/2 cup warm water
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt or table salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • Blue food coloring or liquid watercolor
  • 1 tbsp saline solution (contact lens solution with boric acid)
  • Optional: glitter, mini seashells, plastic ocean animals, blue beads

Instructions

  1. Pour the clear school glue into a mixing bowl. Add warm water and blue food coloring. Stir until well combined.
  2. Add sea salt and baking soda to the glue mixture. Stir until dissolved and smooth.
  3. Gradually add saline solution while mixing, kneading with your hands until the slime forms and pulls away from the bowl.
  4. Mix in optional items like glitter and mini seashells for added texture.
  5. Spoon the finished slime into a plastic sensory tray or shallow bin for play.

Notes

Store slime in an airtight container to keep it fresh for a week or two. If it becomes sticky, add a little more saline solution.
