Salted Caramel White Russian

Description

A delightful twist on the classic White Russian, combining smooth vodka, creamy texture, and the rich flavor of caramel with a touch of sea salt.


Ingredients

  • 1½ oz vodka
  • 1 oz Kahlua
  • 2 oz cream
  • 1 tablespoon caramel sauce plus extra
  • Pinch of coarse ground sea salt


Instructions

  1. Swirl ½ of the caramel sauce around the inside of a tall glass or mason jar. Set aside.
  2. Add ice to a cocktail shaker.
  3. Measure and pour the vodka over the ice.
  4. Measure and add the Kahlua to the cocktail shaker.
  5. Add cream to the cocktail shaker, then cover and shake vigorously.
  6. Add ice to the glass that you swirled with caramel sauce.
  7. Pour the White Russian mixture into the glass over the ice.
  8. Drizzle a bit of extra caramel sauce over the top, then sprinkle with a pinch of sea salt.
  9. Add a straw, serve and sip!

Notes

For a thicker texture, use heavy cream instead of milk. Adjust caramel sauce for sweetness preference and experiment with flavored vodka for unique variations.
