Description
A comforting creamy pasta dish featuring shrimp and flaky salmon, perfect for impressing family or guests.
Ingredients
- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 lb salmon fillet
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté the minced garlic for about one minute until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 3–4 minutes until they turn pink. Remove the shrimp and set aside.
- In the same skillet, cook the salmon for 4–5 minutes on each side until fully cooked. Flake the salmon into bite-sized pieces and set aside.
- Pour the heavy cream into the skillet, bring to a simmer, and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth.
- Add the cooked fettuccine, shrimp, and flaked salmon back into the skillet. Toss gently to coat everything with the sauce.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 days. Reheat with a splash of milk or cream to loosen the sauce.
