Ingredients
- 2 sticks unsalted butter (227g)
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk (395g)
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 tsp salt
Instructions
- Ensure the butter is completely at room temperature before starting.
- Place the butter in a stand mixer with the whisk attachment and whip on high speed for 5 minutes, occasionally scraping down the sides.
- Reduce mixer speed to medium and add 1/3 of the condensed milk, whipping until fully blended. Repeat this step until all condensed milk is incorporated.
- Add vanilla and salt, then whip on high speed for 1 minute to finish.
Notes
The frosting can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week or frozen for up to three months.
