Delicious Red Velvet Cream Cheese Brownies with a creamy cheesecake swirl, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, melted
- 2 cups sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, mix melted butter and sugar until well combined.
- Add eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture until just combined.
- Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan and smooth it out.
- In a separate bowl, beat together cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Spread this cream cheese mixture over the brownie layer.
- Drop spoonfuls of the remaining brownie batter over the cream cheese layer. Use a knife to swirl and create a marbled effect.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow the brownies to cool before cutting them into squares and serving.
Notes
For a more vibrant color, add a few drops of red food coloring to the batter. Serve with vanilla ice cream for an extra treat.
