Description

Delicious Red Velvet Cream Cheese Brownies with a creamy cheesecake swirl, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, melted
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix melted butter and sugar until well combined.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture until just combined.
  6. Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan and smooth it out.
  7. In a separate bowl, beat together cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Spread this cream cheese mixture over the brownie layer.
  8. Drop spoonfuls of the remaining brownie batter over the cream cheese layer. Use a knife to swirl and create a marbled effect.
  9. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Allow the brownies to cool before cutting them into squares and serving.

Notes

For a more vibrant color, add a few drops of red food coloring to the batter. Serve with vanilla ice cream for an extra treat.
