Ingredients
- 4 cups water
- 4 green tea bags or 4 teaspoons loose leaf green tea
- 1/2 cup fresh or frozen raspberries
- Juice of 2 limes
- Zest of 1 lime
- 2-3 tablespoons honey or sugar
- Ice cubes
- Fresh mint leaves
- Lime slices
Instructions
- Boil 4 cups of water.
- Add lime zest and let it steep for 2 minutes.
- Add green tea and steep for an additional 3 minutes.
- Remove tea bags or strain the tea and lime zest.
- Let the tea cool down.
- Mash the raspberries with lime juice in a bowl.
- Stir honey or sugar into the cool tea.
- Pour the raspberry mixture into the tea and mix well.
- Chill the tea in the refrigerator.
- Serve over ice and garnish with mint leaves and lime slices.
Notes
For a stronger raspberry flavor, add more raspberries or let them sit in the tea longer. Adjust sweetness based on preference. Can substitute with various fruits for different flavors.
