Description

A refreshing drink that combines the benefits of green tea with the sweet and tangy flavor of raspberries. Perfect for a warm day or any time you want a delicious and healthy beverage.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 4 green tea bags or 4 teaspoons loose leaf green tea
  • 1/2 cup fresh or frozen raspberries
  • Juice of 2 limes
  • Zest of 1 lime
  • 2-3 tablespoons honey or sugar
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh mint leaves
  • Lime slices


Instructions

  1. Boil 4 cups of water.
  2. Add lime zest and let it steep for 2 minutes.
  3. Add green tea and steep for an additional 3 minutes.
  4. Remove tea bags or strain the tea and lime zest.
  5. Let the tea cool down.
  6. Mash the raspberries with lime juice in a bowl.
  7. Stir honey or sugar into the cool tea.
  8. Pour the raspberry mixture into the tea and mix well.
  9. Chill the tea in the refrigerator.
  10. Serve over ice and garnish with mint leaves and lime slices.

Notes

For a stronger raspberry flavor, add more raspberries or let them sit in the tea longer. Adjust sweetness based on preference. Can substitute with various fruits for different flavors.
