Description

Ingredients

  • 1 clear bottle with a tight-fitting lid
  • Vegetable oil or baby oil
  • Water
  • Food coloring in rainbow colors
  • Pop Rocks (any flavor)
  • Glitter (optional)
  • Alka Seltzer tablets (optional)
  • Funnel (optional)


Instructions

  1. Fill the clear bottle about 3/4 full with vegetable oil or baby oil.
  2. Pour water into the bottle, leaving a small gap at the top.
  3. Add food coloring drop by drop to create a beautiful rainbow effect.
  4. If you like, sprinkle in some glitter for extra sparkle.
  5. Break an Alka Seltzer tablet into small pieces and drop them into the bottle for a fizzy reaction.
  6. Add a handful of Pop Rocks on top to make a fun popping noise.
  7. Seal the bottle tightly with the lid.
  8. Shake gently and watch the colorful bubbles rise and fall like lava!

Notes

Use a funnel when pouring to avoid spills. Experiment with colors for unique designs, and ensure the bottle is clean for the best visual effect.
