A delightful dessert blending the rich flavors of cookie dough with creamy cheesecake, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- Optional: chocolate glaze or melted chocolate for drizzling
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a loaf pan.
- In a bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, and salt together.
- In another bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Spread half of the cookie dough mixture into the bottom of the prepared loaf pan.
- In a separate bowl, beat together the cream cheese, sugar, egg yolk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cookie dough layer in the loaf pan.
- Top with the remaining cookie dough mixture.
- Optional: Drizzle with chocolate glaze or melted chocolate before serving.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool before slicing.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container for 2-3 days at room temperature or up to a week in the refrigerator. Freezes well for up to 3 months.
