Description

A delightful dessert blending the rich flavors of cookie dough with creamy cheesecake, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • Optional: chocolate glaze or melted chocolate for drizzling


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, and salt together.
  3. In another bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar.
  4. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until smooth.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Spread half of the cookie dough mixture into the bottom of the prepared loaf pan.
  8. In a separate bowl, beat together the cream cheese, sugar, egg yolk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  9. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cookie dough layer in the loaf pan.
  10. Top with the remaining cookie dough mixture.
  11. Optional: Drizzle with chocolate glaze or melted chocolate before serving.
  12. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool before slicing.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for 2-3 days at room temperature or up to a week in the refrigerator. Freezes well for up to 3 months.
