Ingredients
- 1 can of crescent roll dough
- 1 can of peaches (in juice)
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg (optional)
- Butter (for brushing, optional)
- Brown sugar (optional)
- Chopped pecans (optional)
- Powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll out the crescent dough and press the seams together to form a large rectangle.
- Spread sliced peaches evenly over the dough.
- Sprinkle sugar and cinnamon over the peaches.
- Roll the dough up from the long side to form a log.
- Slice the log in half lengthwise.
- Twist each half and place it in a greased muffin tin.
- Bake for about 16 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving warm.
