A delightful twist on the classic muffin that combines the flavors of fresh peach pie with a flaky texture, perfect for breakfast, snacks, or dessert.
Ingredients
- 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1 cup peach pie filling
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a muffin tin.
- Unroll the crescent dough and press the seams together for an even surface.
- Brush the dough with melted butter, then sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon. Spread peach pie filling evenly.
- Roll the dough into a log and slice the log lengthwise.
- Twist each half and coil each strip into a spiral, placing them cut-side up in the muffin cups.
- Bake for 18 to 22 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool briefly.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving warm or at room temperature.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a pinch of nutmeg along with the cinnamon. You can also substitute fruit fillings for variation.
