Description

A comforting and simple peach crisp that captures the essence of peach season with a crunchy topping.


Ingredients

  • 6 ripe peaches, sliced
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 cup old-fashioned oats
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup cold butter, diced
  • 1 pinch of salt


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix sliced peaches with granulated sugar and lemon juice.
  3. In another bowl, combine oats, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
  4. Add cold butter to the oat mixture and mix until crumbly.
  5. Spread the peach mixture in a baking dish and sprinkle the oat topping over it.
  6. Bake in the oven for approximately 30-35 minutes until the topping is golden and the juices are bubbling.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for the best experience. Can be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge unbaked.
