Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 3 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream, cold
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • Fresh strawberries, sliced


Instructions

  1. Make the Crust: In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, granulated sugar, and melted butter until it looks like wet sand. Press this mixture into a 9-inch springform pan or a pie dish. Place the crust in the freezer while you prepare the filling.
  2. Prepare the Cheesecake Filling: In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy. In a separate bowl, whip the cold heavy cream and powdered sugar together until stiff peaks form. Carefully fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until well combined and smooth.
  3. Assemble and Chill: Pour the cheesecake filling over the crust you made earlier. Top with sliced strawberries for added flavor and decoration. Chill the cheesecake in the refrigerator until you are ready to serve.

Notes

Make sure your cream cheese is softened to room temperature to avoid lumps in your filling. Whipping cream until stiff peaks form gives the cheesecake a light and fluffy texture.
