Description

Delightful cookies combining mint and chocolate with a soft, melt-in-your-mouth texture, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup additional powdered sugar for coating

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and powdered sugar until smooth.
  3. Add flour, salt, and peppermint extract, mixing until well combined.
  4. Gently fold in the mini chocolate chips.
  5. Form the dough into small balls (about 1 inch in diameter) and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly, then roll the warm cookies in powdered sugar.
  8. Allow to cool completely before enjoying.

Notes

Make sure your butter is softened for easy mixing. Don’t overbake the cookies; they should be soft in the middle.
