A delightful and easy dessert dip combining creamy cheesecake flavors with refreshing mint and rich chocolate.
Ingredients
- 8 ounces full-fat cream cheese, softened to room temperature
- 1 cup powdered sugar, sifted
- 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
- 1/4 teaspoon green gel food coloring (optional)
- 8 ounces whipped topping (such as Cool Whip), thawed
- 1/2 cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- In a medium mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer on medium speed until smooth.
- Add the sifted powdered sugar, peppermint extract, and green food coloring (if using). Mix until light and fluffy.
- Gently fold in the thawed whipped topping until no streaks remain, then fold in the mini chocolate chips.
- Transfer the dip to a serving bowl, cover, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Before serving, sprinkle extra chocolate chips on top. Serve with cookies or fruits.
Notes
For a stronger mint flavor, add more peppermint extract gradually. Chill the dip longer than 30 minutes for enhanced flavors.
