Description

A delightful and easy dessert dip combining creamy cheesecake flavors with refreshing mint and rich chocolate.


Ingredients

  • 8 ounces full-fat cream cheese, softened to room temperature
  • 1 cup powdered sugar, sifted
  • 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon green gel food coloring (optional)
  • 8 ounces whipped topping (such as Cool Whip), thawed
  • 1/2 cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips


Instructions

  1. In a medium mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer on medium speed until smooth.
  2. Add the sifted powdered sugar, peppermint extract, and green food coloring (if using). Mix until light and fluffy.
  3. Gently fold in the thawed whipped topping until no streaks remain, then fold in the mini chocolate chips.
  4. Transfer the dip to a serving bowl, cover, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  5. Before serving, sprinkle extra chocolate chips on top. Serve with cookies or fruits.

Notes

For a stronger mint flavor, add more peppermint extract gradually. Chill the dip longer than 30 minutes for enhanced flavors.
