Ingredients
- Translucent plastic pony beads (variety of colors)
- Metal baking molds, muffin tins, or cookie cutters
- Aluminum foil or metal baking sheet
- Drill or small nail (for making holes)
- Fishing line, string, or ribbon (for hanging)
- Oven and well-ventilated space
- Optional: oven thermometer for accuracy
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Arrange the translucent plastic pony beads in the metal baking molds, muffin tins, or cookie cutters. Fill each mold with beads until they are close to the top.
- Place the molds on an aluminum foil-lined metal baking sheet.
- Bake in the oven for about 20-30 minutes, or until the beads are completely melted.
- Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly.
- Use a drill or small nail to make holes for hanging before the beads harden completely.
- Once cool, carefully remove the suncatchers from the molds.
- Attach fishing line, string, or ribbon for hanging.
