Ingredients
- 1 lb frozen or homemade meatballs, fully cooked
- 4 cups mashed potatoes, freshly made or leftovers
- 1 1/2 cups brown gravy, homemade or store-bought
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: chopped parsley or green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a baking dish, spread the fully cooked meatballs evenly.
- Pour the brown gravy over the meatballs.
- Spread the mashed potatoes over the meatballs and gravy, smoothing them out.
- Top with shredded cheese.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Optional: Garnish with chopped parsley or green onions before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, add garlic powder or cheese into the mashed potatoes. For a crispy topping, broil the bake for the last 2-3 minutes.
