Description

A comforting dish that combines meatballs and creamy mashed potatoes topped with cheese and gravy.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb frozen or homemade meatballs, fully cooked
  • 4 cups mashed potatoes, freshly made or leftovers
  • 1 1/2 cups brown gravy, homemade or store-bought
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: chopped parsley or green onions for garnish


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Spread the cooked meatballs evenly in a baking dish.
  3. Layer the mashed potatoes over the meatballs.
  4. Pour brown gravy over the mashed potatoes.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley or green onions if desired before serving.

Notes
