Description

A hearty casserole that combines all your favorite pizza toppings, including Italian sausage, pepperoni, ground beef, and plenty of cheese.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb Italian sausage
  • 1/2 lb pepperoni slices
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 24 oz marinara sauce
  • 2 cups mozzarella, shredded
  • 1/2 cup parmesan, grated
  • 16 oz penne pasta
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 green bell pepper, diced


Instructions

  1. Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente, then drain it.
  2. In a large skillet, brown the Italian sausage, ground beef, and diced green bell pepper over medium heat until fully cooked.
  3. In a big bowl, mix the cooked pasta with the browned meats and marinara sauce until well combined.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread it out evenly.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and grated parmesan cheese on top. Add the Italian seasoning for extra flavor.
  6. Bake the dish in a preheated oven at 375°F for 25 minutes.
  7. For a bubbly topping, broil it for an additional 2 minutes.

Notes

Feel free to add your favorite pizza toppings like mushrooms, olives, or onions. For a spicier version, include some sliced jalapeños or a sprinkle of red pepper flakes.
