Description
A delightful treat made with glutinous rice flour and coconut milk, perfect when paired with black coffee.
Ingredients
- 2 cups glutinous rice flour
- 1 cup coconut milk
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Banana leaves (for wrapping)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine glutinous rice flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder. Mix well.
- In another bowl, combine coconut milk and water. Gradually add this mixture to the dry ingredients, stirring until well combined.
- If using banana leaves, cut them into squares and lightly grease them.
- Spoon the mixture into the banana leaves and fold securely.
- Arrange the wrapped mixture in a steamer and steam for about 20-30 minutes or until cooked through.
- Serve warm with a cup of black coffee.
Notes
Ensure to mix the ingredients thoroughly for an even texture and do not skip the banana leaves for added flavor.
