Description

A delightful treat made with glutinous rice flour and coconut milk, perfect when paired with black coffee.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups glutinous rice flour
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Banana leaves (for wrapping)


Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine glutinous rice flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder. Mix well.
  2. In another bowl, combine coconut milk and water. Gradually add this mixture to the dry ingredients, stirring until well combined.
  3. If using banana leaves, cut them into squares and lightly grease them.
  4. Spoon the mixture into the banana leaves and fold securely.
  5. Arrange the wrapped mixture in a steamer and steam for about 20-30 minutes or until cooked through.
  6. Serve warm with a cup of black coffee.

Notes

Ensure to mix the ingredients thoroughly for an even texture and do not skip the banana leaves for added flavor.
