Description

A quick and refreshing salad featuring fresh cucumbers, tomatoes, and onions in a tangy marinade.


Ingredients

  • 2 cucumbers, sliced
  • 2 tomatoes, cut into wedges
  • 1 small onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup vinegar (white or apple cider)
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • Salt & black pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Combine the cucumbers, tomatoes, and onions in a bowl.
  2. In a separate cup, mix the vinegar, water, sugar, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
  3. Pour the mixture over the vegetables and toss to coat evenly.
  4. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 60 minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding dill or parsley. The salad can be prepared a day in advance and tastes better after marinating overnight.
