Description
A quick and refreshing salad featuring fresh cucumbers, tomatoes, and onions in a tangy marinade.
Ingredients
- 2 cucumbers, sliced
- 2 tomatoes, cut into wedges
- 1 small onion, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup vinegar (white or apple cider)
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 tbsp sugar
- Salt & black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Combine the cucumbers, tomatoes, and onions in a bowl.
- In a separate cup, mix the vinegar, water, sugar, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
- Pour the mixture over the vegetables and toss to coat evenly.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 60 minutes before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider adding dill or parsley. The salad can be prepared a day in advance and tastes better after marinating overnight.
