A comforting and delicious dish inspired by Jollibee’s flavors, featuring layers of rice, meat sauce, and melted cheese.
Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1 lb chicken thighs, cut into pieces
- 1 cup Jolly Spaghetti sauce or sweet-style spaghetti sauce
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup hotdogs, sliced
- 1 cup ground beef or pork
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Instructions
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan. Add chopped onions and minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant.
- Add the ground beef or pork, and cook until browned. Season with salt and pepper.
- Stir in the sliced hotdogs and cook for a few more minutes.
- Pour in the Jolly Spaghetti sauce. Let it simmer for about 10 minutes.
- In another pan, cook the chicken thighs until golden brown and fully cooked. Season with salt and pepper.
- In a baking dish, layer cooked rice, meat sauce, and cooked chicken. Top it off with shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake for 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and starting to brown.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Add vegetables like bell peppers or carrots for extra nutrition. Adjust the sweetness of the sauce to your liking.
