Description

A comforting and delicious dish inspired by Jollibee’s flavors, featuring layers of rice, meat sauce, and melted cheese.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 lb chicken thighs, cut into pieces
  • 1 cup Jolly Spaghetti sauce or sweet-style spaghetti sauce
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup hotdogs, sliced
  • 1 cup ground beef or pork
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil


Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a pan. Add chopped onions and minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant.
  2. Add the ground beef or pork, and cook until browned. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Stir in the sliced hotdogs and cook for a few more minutes.
  4. Pour in the Jolly Spaghetti sauce. Let it simmer for about 10 minutes.
  5. In another pan, cook the chicken thighs until golden brown and fully cooked. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. In a baking dish, layer cooked rice, meat sauce, and cooked chicken. Top it off with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  7. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake for 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and starting to brown.
  8. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Add vegetables like bell peppers or carrots for extra nutrition. Adjust the sweetness of the sauce to your liking.
