Fun and colorful gelatin shots that brighten up any gathering, perfect for parties and customizable with various flavors.
Ingredients
- 1 box 3 oz cherry or strawberry flavored gelatin
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1/4 cup tequila
- 1/4 cup blue curaçao
- 1/2 cup cold water
- 1 box 3 oz blue raspberry flavored gelatin
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1/4 cup peach schnapps
- 1/4 cup sloe gin or coconut rum
- 1/2 cup cold water
- Whipped cream (optional)
- Gummy bears or gummy Smurfs (optional)
- Decorative party picks or skewers (optional)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, dissolve the cherry or strawberry gelatin in 1 cup of boiling water. Stir until completely dissolved. Add tequila, blue curaçao, and cold water. Mix well. Pour into mini plastic condiment cups, filling each about halfway. Refrigerate for 1 to 2 hours until set.
- Once the red layer is firm, dissolve the blue raspberry gelatin in 1 cup boiling water. Stir until fully dissolved. Add peach schnapps, sloe gin or coconut rum, and cold water. Mix thoroughly. Gently pour the blue mixture on top of the red layer in each cup. Chill for another 2 to 4 hours until fully set.
- Just before serving, add a swirl of whipped cream on top. Garnish with gummy bears or themed candies and insert decorative picks if desired. Serve cold and enjoy!
Notes
Use different flavored gelatin for more color variety. Make sure each layer is set before adding the next for the best visual effect.
