Description

Delicious Polish potato dumplings filled with meat, perfect for family dinners or gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1.5 kg raw potatoes
  • 500 g cooked potatoes
  • 1 tablespoon potato flour
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Grate the raw potatoes.
  2. Squeeze out excess water from the grated potatoes.
  3. In a bowl, mix the grated raw potatoes with the cooked potatoes and potato flour.
  4. Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Form dumplings and fill them with meat filling.
  6. Cook in salted water for about 30 minutes.
  7. Serve topped with sautéed onions.

Notes

Best served warm, topped with golden onions or with mushroom sauce or sour cream for added flavor.
