Description
Delicious Polish potato dumplings filled with meat, perfect for family dinners or gatherings.
Ingredients
- 1.5 kg raw potatoes
- 500 g cooked potatoes
- 1 tablespoon potato flour
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Grate the raw potatoes.
- Squeeze out excess water from the grated potatoes.
- In a bowl, mix the grated raw potatoes with the cooked potatoes and potato flour.
- Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste.
- Form dumplings and fill them with meat filling.
- Cook in salted water for about 30 minutes.
- Serve topped with sautéed onions.
Notes
Best served warm, topped with golden onions or with mushroom sauce or sour cream for added flavor.
