Description

Traditional dish combining cabbage with minced meat, perfect for a hearty meal on cold days.


Ingredients

  • 500 g minced meat (preferably pork and beef mix)
  • 1 small head of white cabbage
  • 1 onion
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 chili pepper (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chives or parsley for garnish


Instructions

  1. Shred the cabbage into thin strips. Finely chop the onion and garlic.
  2. Heat the oil in a large skillet. Add the minced meat and cook over medium heat until browned.
  3. Add the onion, garlic, and chili pepper to the meat. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until the onion becomes translucent.
  4. Add the cabbage and sauté, stirring until it becomes slightly softened. Pour in the soy sauce and add the tomato paste. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Cover the skillet and simmer for about 15 minutes until the cabbage is soft and flavors meld.
  6. Garnish with chives or parsley before serving.

Notes

For more flavor, consider adding herbs like thyme or marjoram. You can incorporate other vegetables like carrots or bell peppers to enhance the taste.
