Ingredients

  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 pound Italian sausage
  • 8 ounces bow tie pasta
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Grated Parmesan cheese (for serving)


Instructions

  1. Cook the bow tie pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, sauté the onion and garlic until soft.
  3. Add the red bell pepper and Italian sausage, cooking until the sausage is browned.
  4. Stir in the diced tomatoes and Italian seasoning; simmer for about 10 minutes.
  5. Combine the cooked pasta with the sausage mixture, and season with salt and pepper.
