Description

A creamy, flavorful appetizer that combines crab meat with cheese and spices, perfect for gatherings and special occasions.

Ingredients

  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup lump crab meat
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (such as Monterey Jack or a blend)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Tortilla chips or crostini for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, mayonnaise, lump crab meat, shredded cheese, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread it evenly.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until hot and bubbly.
  5. Serve warm with tortilla chips or crostini.

Notes

For added flavor, consider adding dill or hot sauce. Make sure to drain liquid from crab meat to avoid a watery dip.
