Description

A fun and easy recipe for homemade play dough that provides hours of entertainment for kids of all ages.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup hand lotion or hair conditioner
  • A few drops of food coloring
  • 1 1/4 cups corn starch


Instructions

  1. Scoop the lotion or conditioner into a mixing bowl.
  2. Add a few drops of food coloring and mix well to combine.
  3. Gradually stir in 1 cup of corn starch until the mixture is smooth.
  4. Slowly mix in the remaining 1/4 cup of corn starch, adding it one tablespoon at a time.
  5. Once the mixture is too thick to stir with a spoon, knead the dough with your hands until it comes together.
  6. Transfer the dough onto a clean surface and knead until it is soft and pliable.
  7. If the dough is too sticky, add more corn starch; if too dry, add more lotion or conditioner.
  8. Store the play dough in a sealed plastic bag or an airtight container to keep it fresh.

Notes

Supervise younger children while playing with play dough. Experiment with different colors and scents for added fun.
