  • 4 jalapeños, sliced in half and deseeded
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 tbsp hot sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • Lettuce, tomato, and onion for topping

Instructions

  4. In a separate bowl, mix together the cream cheese and shredded cheddar cheese.
  5. Fill each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture.
  6. Place a stuffed jalapeño half on top of each burger patty and cover it with another burger patty, sealing the edges well.
  7. Place the burgers on a baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until cooked through.
  8. Meanwhile, toast the hamburger buns.
  9. To assemble, place a burger patty on the bottom bun, add lettuce, tomato, and onion, and top with the top bun.
  10. Serve hot and enjoy the spicy, cheesy goodness!
