Description
A spicy twist on the classic hamburger featuring beef, creamy cheeses, and fiery jalapeños.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 jalapeños, sliced in half and deseeded
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 tbsp hot sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 hamburger buns
- Lettuce, tomato, and onion for topping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F.
- In a bowl, mix together the ground beef, breadcrumbs, hot sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Form this mixture into 4 patties.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the cream cheese and shredded cheddar cheese.
- Fill each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture.
- Place a stuffed jalapeño half on top of each burger patty and cover it with another burger patty, sealing the edges well.
- Place the burgers on a baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until cooked through.
- Meanwhile, toast the hamburger buns.
- To assemble, place a burger patty on the bottom bun, add lettuce, tomato, and onion, and top with the top bun.
- Serve hot and enjoy the spicy, cheesy goodness!
Notes
For extra flavor, add bacon bits to the cream cheese mixture. Adjust hot sauce according to your heat preference.
