Description

A delightful dish combining succulent shrimp and aromatic garlic in a creamy buttery sauce over spaghetti noodles.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb medium shrimp, deveined and tails removed
  • 1 lb spaghetti noodles
  • 6-8 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • Olive oil (3 drizzles)
  • Italian seasoning
  • Fresh ground pepper
  • Red pepper flakes


Instructions

  1. Cook spaghetti noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt butter and add olive oil.
  3. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add shrimp to the skillet and cook until they turn pink, about 2-3 minutes.
  5. Season with Italian seasoning, fresh ground pepper, and red pepper flakes to taste.
  6. Toss the cooked spaghetti in the skillet with the shrimp and garlic, mixing well to combine.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley or grated Parmesan cheese if desired.

Notes

To save time, use pre-peeled and deveined shrimp. For extra flavor, add white wine after cooking the garlic.
