Description
A delicious and creamy pasta dish blending garlic, Parmesan, and Cajun spices for a perfect weeknight dinner.
Ingredients
- 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 12 oz spaghetti
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Cajun seasoning.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove from skillet and let rest.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Add cooked spaghetti to the sauce and toss to coat.
- Slice the chicken and serve on top of the spaghetti. Garnish with fresh parsley.
Notes
Adjust the amount of Cajun seasoning to suit your taste. You can also use shrimp instead of chicken for a variation.
