A tasty and fun take on classic cheeseburgers, these rollups feature flavorful ground beef wrapped in flaky dough and baked to perfection.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or American)
- 1 package flaky dough (crescent roll or puff pastry)
- 1/4 cup garlic butter (melted)
- Optional: diced onions, pickles
Instructions
- Preheat the oven according to the flaky dough package instructions.
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned; drain any excess fat.
- Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Roll out the flaky dough on a baking sheet.
- Place spoonfuls of the beef mixture on the dough, sprinkle with cheese, and roll the dough around the filling.
- Place the rollups seam-side down on the baking sheet.
- Brush the tops with melted garlic butter.
- Bake according to dough package instructions until golden brown.
- Serve warm, optionally garnished with diced onions or pickles.
Notes
These rollups can be made in advance and stored in an airtight container. Reheat in the oven before serving.
