Description

A tasty and fun take on classic cheeseburgers, these rollups feature flavorful ground beef wrapped in flaky dough and baked to perfection.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or American)
  • 1 package flaky dough (crescent roll or puff pastry)
  • 1/4 cup garlic butter (melted)
  • Optional: diced onions, pickles


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven according to the flaky dough package instructions.
  2. In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned; drain any excess fat.
  3. Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Roll out the flaky dough on a baking sheet.
  5. Place spoonfuls of the beef mixture on the dough, sprinkle with cheese, and roll the dough around the filling.
  6. Place the rollups seam-side down on the baking sheet.
  7. Brush the tops with melted garlic butter.
  8. Bake according to dough package instructions until golden brown.
  9. Serve warm, optionally garnished with diced onions or pickles.

Notes

These rollups can be made in advance and stored in an airtight container. Reheat in the oven before serving.
