Description

A delicious twist on the classic grilled cheese sandwich, combining the rich taste of garlic bread with melted mozzarella and cheddar cheese.


Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons softened butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 4 slices good bread
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese


Instructions

  1. Mix softened butter with garlic powder and dried parsley in a small bowl to create the garlic butter.
  2. Spread the garlic butter mixture on all four slices of bread.
  3. Flip two slices butter-side down.
  4. Divide the shredded cheese between these slices.
  5. Top with the remaining bread slices butter-side up.
  6. Place sandwiches in a large sauté pan over low heat.
  7. Cook for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  8. Ensure both sides are golden brown and the cheese is oozing slightly.

Notes

Serve with a bowl of tomato soup for a classic combination.
