Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup warm water
  • Oil for frying


Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Slowly add the warm water to the dry ingredients, stirring until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough until it is smooth and elastic.
  4. Divide the dough into small balls.
  5. Flatten each ball into a circle.
  6. Heat oil in a deep pan over medium-high heat.
  7. Fry each dough circle for 2–3 minutes on each side until puffed and golden brown.
  8. Drain the cooked frybread on paper towels and serve warm.
