Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 1/2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 1/4 cups fresh milk (any type)
- 1 large egg
- 3 tablespoons melted butter
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
- In another bowl, beat the milk, egg, and melted butter together.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease it.
- Pour 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake onto the skillet.
- Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown on the other side.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
Don’t overmix the batter; a few lumps are okay. Let the batter sit for a few minutes before cooking for a lighter texture.
