Description

  • Warm water (3/4 of the jar full)

Instructions

  1. Fill the clear glass jar with warm water, leaving some space at the top.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the cooking oil with a few drops of different food coloring.
  3. Using a fork or spoon, gently drop the colored oil mixture into the jar of water.
  4. Watch as the food coloring creates a ‘fireworks’ effect in the jar, demonstrating how oil and water don’t mix.
