Description
Refreshing and fun watermelon popsicles infused with tequila and lime, perfect for cooling off on hot summer days.
Ingredients
- 1 medium watermelon
- 1 cup tequila
- 1/2 cup lime juice, freshly squeezed
- 1/4 cup simple syrup
- 1/4 teaspoon chili powder, adjust to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
- Popsicle molds
- Sticks for popsicles
Instructions
- Cut the watermelon in half and scoop the flesh into a large mixing bowl. Remove seeds and break into smaller pieces.
- Use a blender to puree the watermelon until smooth or to your desired texture.
- In a separate bowl, mix tequila, lime juice, simple syrup, chili powder, and sea salt until well combined.
- Pour the watermelon puree into the tequila mixture and stir until mixed well.
- Pour the mixture into popsicle molds, leaving space at the top for expansion.
- Insert sticks into the molds and freeze for at least 6 hours or until solid.
- To serve, run warm water over the molds for a few seconds then gently pull out the pops and enjoy!
Notes
Adjust chili powder for spice preference. Use ripe watermelon for the best flavor.
