Description
Delicious crispy eggrolls filled with a savory mixture of meat and vegetables, perfect as a snack or appetizer.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef or any meat of choice
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup shredded carrots
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon salt and pepper
- 25 egg roll wrappers
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a pan, add the ground meat, onion, and garlic. Cook while stirring frequently until the meat is cooked through. Drain off any excess grease.
- Add the shredded carrots into the meat mixture and cook for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Remove the pan from the heat and set it aside.
- Lay an egg roll wrapper on a flat work surface. Place 1 1/2 tablespoons of the meat mixture on the lower part of the wrapper.
- Fold the sides in, then roll the egg roll wrapper up over the filling. Seal the edge with a little water and set aside.
- Deep fry the eggrolls until they are golden brown. Serve with sweet chili sauce. Enjoy!
Notes
Make sure the oil is hot enough before frying for a perfect crispy texture. Don’t overfill the wrappers to prevent bursting.
