Ingredients
- 1 box of cake mix (any flavor)
- Eggs (as required by cake mix)
- Oil (as required by cake mix)
- Water (as required by cake mix)
- 1 cup frosting (store-bought or homemade)
- Candy melts (various colors)
- Sprinkles (for decoration)
- Lollipop sticks
Instructions
- Bake the cake according to the package instructions and let it cool completely.
- Once cooled, crumble the cake into a large bowl.
- Add the frosting to the crumbled cake and mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into small balls (about 1 inch in diameter) and place them on a baking sheet.
- Insert lollipop sticks into the center of each cake ball.
- Freeze the cake pops for about 30 minutes to firm them up.
- Melt the candy melts according to the package instructions.
- Dip each cake pop into the melted candy and allow the excess to drip off.
- Place the cake pops back on the baking sheet and decorate with sprinkles before the coating sets.
- Let the cake pops cool completely, then serve and enjoy!
