A quick and tasty dish that combines ramen noodles with creamy cheese, perfect for any time of day.
Ingredients
- 3 packets instant ramen noodles (chicken or beef)
- 1 packet of ramen flavoring
- 1 cup reserved pasta water
- ¾ cup 2% milk
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp butter
- ¼ cup cheddar cheese
- 1 Tbsp grated parmesan
- 3 Tbsp green onions, chopped
Instructions
- Bring water to a boil for the ramen noodles and cook according to package instructions, reserving one flavor packet.
- Once noodles are al dente, drain most of the water, keeping 1 cup of pasta water.
- In the same pot on low heat, add melted butter and stir in milk and shredded cheddar cheese.
- Incorporate garlic powder and reserved ramen flavor packet, stirring until smooth.
- Add cooked noodles to the cheesy mixture and fold until well-coated, using reserved pasta water to adjust consistency if needed.
- Serve warm, topped with chopped green onions and grated parmesan.
Notes
For extra cheesiness, feel free to add more cheddar cheese or try different cheeses for varying flavors. This dish can be customized with additional vegetables or proteins.
